Training For Puppies (6 Months and Under)
Whether this is your first puppy, your first in a a while, or your tenth, congratulations! Puppies are a bundle of fun and raising them is an extremely rewarding experience.
Of course with the cuteness of puppyhood comes a lot of mischief and serious responsibility to prepare your puppy to grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog. Puppies are like sponges and the training and experiences they have now are incredibly important to set them up for success. We are here to help you through in-home training, group classes or both! We love getting families set up for success and coaching them from puppyhood through adolescence.
What is Included?
Group Classes
Group classes are an amazing way to expose your puppy to new people, dogs, and experiences under professional guidance. We recommend group classes for almost every puppy.
In-Home Sessions
If you want some more support we can come to you to work with you and Puppy right in your home! Whether you want advice on setup before your puppy even comes home or you’re trying to work through a behavior, we’ve got your tail.
Virtual Support
Your trainer is available to you 9a-5p Monday-Friday via text and email to answer questions, review video… whatever you need! You will also recieve access to our puppy resources via our platform on Skool.
What You’ll Learn:
Foundation Behaviors
Behaviors such as sit, down, stay, touch and loose leash walking skills can all be started right away! We’ll help you get Puppy started and show you how you can continue developing these skills.
How to Handle "Puppy Stuff"
Puppies do not know what is expected of them and are still exploring the world. This leads to very normal, albeit frustrating behaviors, such as trouble potty training, jumping, mouthing, etc. We can help you work through these things and more!
Socialization
Socialization for puppies is SO important but often poorly understood. We can help you set Puppy up for success by positively introducing them to different surfaces, people, dogs, environments and more.
